  • 8 hours of Financial Literacy & Bookkeeping Setup
  • 6 hours of Labor Law Compliance Training

Who Qualifies

This opportunity is available for:

  • Small businesses located in Minneapolis or surrounding 7 Metro County areas
  • Entrepreneurs with 1–10 employees (or planning to hire soon)
  • Businesses seeking guidance in bookkeeping, payroll, or compliance
  • If accepted, you’ll receive training and technical assistance—at no cost to you.
Limited spaces available — apply today! Businesses will be selected on a rolling basis. Once approved, participants will be matched with a JLLB Media advisor to begin services.
Terms of Service

1. Work Sessions: 

Agree to complete the work sessions within a span of four (4) weeks from the date of the intake call. Failure to complete the services within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation of services.

2. No-Show Policy:

In the event that you miss two (2) booked appointments, your services will be cancelled. To avoid cancellation, rescheduling or provide a written notification at least 2 hours in advance.

Program Disclaimer

This initiative is part of a pilot research project led by NDC in partnership with Rutgers University and the City of Minneapolis. Participation is voluntary, and businesses will complete brief assessments before and after services to measure outcomes. All information is kept confidential.
