FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Congratulations to Juan for this well-deserved honor!

Juan Llerena said:

“Reflecting on this recognition, I am reminded of my ‘why.’ Diversity and collaboration propel innovation, solving problems from multiple angles due to the wealth of backgrounds and experiences. This recognition is not about satisfying my ego, but rather about inspiring others who need encouragement and role models to dream big, work hard, and believe that nothing is impossible if we are willing to do our part. This, to me, is the true essence of the American Dream.

I am deeply humbled and honored to have been recognized as an Immigrant Trailblazer at the Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit on May 31, 2024, hosted at the Base Camp, Leadership Center in St. Paul, MN. This event, organized by the Immigrant Entrepreneur Summit Organization, is a testament to the power of bringing businesses of diverse backgrounds together to share, learn, and celebrate the immigrant entrepreneurship experience.”

During the luncheon, Juan had the privilege of being part of an inspiring panel alongside Brian McDonald, District Director of the U.S. SBA Minnesota District Office; Diane Paterson, Regional Director at the SBDC, University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business; and Ying Sa, CEO & Managing Partner at Community CPA & Associates Inc. and founder of the IES organization. The energy and positivity of our entrepreneurial and immigrant community in such a welcoming space was truly uplifting.

The event was filled with great stories and showcased the important work being done across the government, local government, and private sectors to solve problems, generate wealth, and create opportunities.

Thank you to the event organizers and to all the sponsors making it possible.
